The real high-contrast movement of early 2026 isn’t happening on the runway but in the realm of botanical futurism.

Gentle Monster has officially launched its 2026 Bouquet Collection, a line that discards traditional minimalism for frames that mimic the intricate and often chaotic architecture of plant stems. Think loops, tangles, and ties that wrap around the face with the same structural discipline once seen in high-fashion tailoring.

The Surrealist Bloom of FKA Twigs

The collection is anchored by a surreal campaign film co-directed by and starring FKA Twigs and photographer Jordan Hemingway. Set to an unreleased track by Twigs, the film captures a bud’s rhythmic metamorphosis into a flower which is a visual metaphor for the collection’s themes of growth and transformation. It is the perfect marriage of Twigs’ avant-garde expression and the brand’s obsession with imaginative and dreamlike landscapes.

The Architecture of the Frame

The standout of the collection is the Bouquet 02 which is a wraparound piece in glossy silver that serves as a wearable floral arrangement. It features dense and vibrant beadwork along the temples to push eyewear beyond simple function into something tactile and decorative. Other key silhouettes like the Origami 02 and Futura 02 use metal knots and loops to create a sense of organic movement that feels both raw and refined.

You can find the full range at ION Orchard (#01-27), Marina Bay Sands (#01-66), and gentlemonster.com. Price starts from $368.

The Pop-Up Experience
